I am in college and I usually take notes on my tablet and for some of the more fast-paced lectures the notes are in my handwriting and then before the exam session I would just rewrite them in a text file.
Problem is I make them mostly for myself (I do sent them out, but it doesn't necessaritly register in my mind) and what that means is I will write things as I think of them, often including digressions, jokes, or some form of commentary...
Anyway, my friends love them so very much and apparently they break down laughing at some points, because it is just so out of left field at times
Some exerpts include:
12th October 1492 - Columbus “discovers” America. He reaches the Bahamas on his ship - Santa Maria. Fucker made a couple trips, mostly bounced around Central America. Was Italian, though there are some weird theories about his presumed Polish heritage, personally I don’t buy it, but it is a fun fact
Or
Why did the British sail to the New World? Bc Money. Set up like a joke, but nope, people just be like that. In 1588 GB became the strongest Navy after defeating the Spanish Armada. Queen Lizzie the 1st is very happy and ruling quite prosperously. GB also broke off the relations with the Catholic Church, as it was the time of changing religion like socks (You know what you did Henry the 8th) The C of E (Church of England) is in its infancy, but it is a strong infant, not like one of those that die early, this one is here to stay.
and that is just from the beginning... It goes on. For Thirty. Odd. Pages.
So yeah, I did put in a disclaimer asking them not to worry about me, as I just process information weirdly, and no, I do not need to see a doctor of the brain variety
