I borrowed Not Forgetting the Whale by John Ironmonger a few days ago from my local library. I'm really enjoying this book so far. It truly sweeps you away to the tiny Cornish village which is it set. Full of a diverse cast of characters and a slightly random plot, this is such a comforting, funny, spirit lifting and calming read so far. I love meeting the variety of characters in this book from the young to the old and even the Whale too!
