Are people seriously talking about boycotting the Pokemon games because of the national dex
If I was a game developer, especially in Japan where people are overworked as it is, I wouldn’t want to make 800+ new animations, either. And with the list of Pokemon growing every couple of years, having a national dex is just becoming more and more unrealistic.
And this is also people not giving them any credit and not considering they could always patch new things into the game later on. They aren’t EA. This isn’t the Sims 4 where door swatches, careers, pools, and toddlers get patched into the game years after it comes out, and still lacks, you know, cars, (Not that I really care about cars, but they had cars in the Sims 2) in favor of that all important Toddler Stuff Pack and My First Pet Stuff coming in at $10 apiece.
