That moment when you realize the original poster of a controversial post with 10,000+ reblogs is planning to leave Tumblr & you can pretty much guess why.

There is like a Catch 22 of popularity on this site. On the one hand, you want as much exposure as you can get, but on the other -- having that many people looking at you is not for the faint of heart, especially when a good chunk of them send anon hate and flood your notifications with that one post you’d rather forget about.
