SEASON FIVE SPOILERS!!!!
Also trigger warning there is blood buuut that’s about it.
He stood there frozen in place, the blood pouring from the wound, and the gun shaking in his hand. D-did he not do it in time, w-what went wrong. He looked down at Dazai as he bled on the floor, the tears leaking from his eyes before he could stop them and even with the contacts in. This was not how this was supposed to go. He screwed up.
He sank to his knees not caring whether this plan was ruined or not and pulled Dazai close to him.
“NONONONO FUCK, YOU BASTARD, I-IM SORRY I-IM SO SORRY” he screamed out. Crying into Dazai’s limp body.
“It seems this was some type of ploy. And here I thought Dazai was better than that. I’ll leave you two love birds alone maybe you can join him Chuuya.” Fyodor laughed maniacally over the intercom but Chuuya didn’t care.
D-Dazai p-please please forgive me I’m… I’m so sorry I I never… I never got to tell you- even tho I fucking hate your stupid guts.” He stopped the tears streaming as he choked out a sob. “I never got to tell you how much I fucking love you, as much as it pains me and hurts my pride to say this, I fucking love you you idiot, you quite literally complete me, even tho we… we fight all the damn time I-it’s just the way we are who we are.” The words were spilling out of his mouth before he could even think.
“P-please please come back to me I know I screwed up I-I can get it right I promise, FUCK, IM SO FUCKING STUPID, I FUCKING DID THIS, I KILLED YOU, THIS ISNT HOW THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO GO!!” The guttural screams that were leaving his throat burned it physically hurt him. He looked down Dazai’s eyes still opened and before he could stop himself he leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on his lips as if to signify not only his goodbye but an apology and love for him.
Chuuya’s eyes sprang open as he sat up abruptly. He quickly looked beside him only to see his idiot partner lying asleep disheveled beside him he’d even taken all the covers. Again. As he realizes he’s awake he feels his own tears falling from his face onto his naked chest, also realizing he’d been crying, he sniffles quietly and wipes his eyes. And gently moves himself over tightly next to Dazai curling into his chest and holding tightly.
“It’s ok chibi I’m right here” Dazai says sleepily placing his hand on the tip of his head and the other around his back after pulling the covers back over them both. Chuuya grumbles but continues to quietly cry as Dazai coo’s and assures him that everything is ok.
“I- I don’t wanna lose your stupid ass. No matter how infuriating y-you can be.”
“Awww chibi’s worried for his master, how cute.” Chuuya tsked and tried to pull away but Dazai held him tightly. “It’s ok chuuya.”
Hearing Dazai actually say his name made his heart flutter and his body relax.
Dazai held Chuuya with his head on his chest and the covers over both of them as Chuuya spoke once more.
“I-I killed you, I screwed up,” the tears had stopped but he was still stuffy. “I-I was h-holding you a-and it felt so… so real.”
Dazai’s heart cracked as he heard his chibi’s voice crack. “I-it’s was my fault Dazai.” Chuuya’s voice cracked again.
Dazai sat up startling Chuuya at first but he pulled him into his chest hugging him. “It’s okay Chuuya I’m ok, I’m right here. We killed the demon so there’s nothing to worry about.” They sat there chest to chest with Dazai tracing over Chuuya corruption scars.
Chuuya wrapped his arms around Dazai’s body yet again and just held him.
“God you can be so sappy and cliche sometimes” he let out a small chuckle through his sniffles.
“Yet you love me.” Dazai said cheekily.
They both layed down holding each other tightly tangled within each other before they both peacefully fell asleep.
Also I know this one’s a bit short and I’m sorry for some reason brain could not think of good scenario but I hope you guys enjoyed it.
