Captain’s Log Stardate 99055.01
The crew has voiced their displeasure via comm to me regarding our extended shore leave. Despite the fact that we have been ordered to participate in a diplomatic function while visiting the famed pleasure planet, I do not understand their reluctance to enjoy this down time. I have already contacted my first officer to arrange a contraband sweep in crew quarters and will be meeting with my head security officer to suggest an exercise in planet side alert drills first thing in the morning. We’re doing important work here on Risa and I do not need restless crew members distracting my senior officers from the very important objectives at hand.
