not evil, no but i do want to be honest: once again i don’t take requests/commissions for fics. my writing schedule is wildly inconsistent, i already have my own projects stacked up like unstable architecture, and i know myself well enough to know that adding outside pressure would make me enjoy writing less, not more.
and as for kai with a female reader/afab reader, that is just not really what i write. my work is queer on purpose. that is not an accidental flavoring, it is the entire interior architecture. that is where my interest is, that is where the current actually runs, and i am not going to manufacture enthusiasm for something that does not move me creatively. sometimes i may write a m/f dynamics if it serves a very specific psychological story i want to tell, but that does not mean i am open for female reader requests, and “afab reader” is not a loophole around that boundary.
when i say i write for “all genders,” i do not mean i am equally interested in every possible dynamic under the sun. i mean that my lens is queer, my interests are queer, and the space i am writing from is queer. i am just not motivated by m/f reader dynamics in that way, especially not with a character like kai. there is already an enormous amount of content for straight pairings out there. what i make here is for the little corner of the room i actually want to build for.
