♔ —— “ISO at 100, Aperture at f/8, Shutter Speed..." Oz was out and about, another day of testing out the new DSLR camera that he bought a few days ago. He still marveled over the fact that cameras of this world were easier to carry. Sure, they looked big and bulky, but he had a feeling that all the weight was coming from the lens. Speaking of the lens, he adjusted it a bit to the left. He's been outside since this morning, and he's taken quite an amount of shots, some blurry and unrecognizable, but as he continued further, testing out shots everyday, they were getting a bit clearer, and better. Practice makes perfect, after all, and Oz was very dedicated, which helped.
♔ —— “Okay," He gave a nod of approval, "Much better." Now then, to set off for another day of photography. Time to find a place and a theme too. He'd read in one of the books back at home that when taking photographs, to give a more dramatic effect, one should have a theme. Will he find one, is the question. He's probably taken a photo of every 'worthy' location now, and he was still very dissatisfied. Sure that could be because he wasn't that adjusted to the camera yet, but he also feels like something was incomplete. Something... that adds drama to the photograph. Something to give it more life. He tried to remember the few photographs Uncle Oscar took with his own camera, he was able to show off any given emotion with it, but how did he...
Of course! That's what he needed! A person! He needed a model for him to be able to capture an emotion! Why hadn't he thought of that earlier? He was so engrossed with his new camera, he failed to remember all those things he learned earlier. How silly of him.
♔ —— “But where might I find someone who would be willing to--?"
Oz stopped walking as his eyes caught that breath-taking sight. A person was leaning against the bridge with their eyes closed, behind them the river was calm. But what stole his breath away was the golden light basking around the person, reflecting on the river's surface. It was simply beautiful.
Oz's finger itched for the trigger, but he was afraid that if he took a shot all too suddenly, the person would be alerted and probably think he was up to no good. He had to approach them.
And that he did. He slowly made his way to the person who was currently resting, not really wanting to ruin the sense of tranquility, all the while noticing that as he got closer, their features looked clearer now, and he was able to discern that the person in question was a female.
Once he was near earshot, he called out in a soft voice, "Excuse me?" Once he got her attention, he gave a little smile, "Could you do me a favor, it's nothing big!"
