I’m frustrated and disheartened that she doesn’t seem to understand what feminism is about.

There’s a huge difference between feminism and misandry. Some people seem to not be able to differentiate the two. Feminism is fighting for equality. It’s the difference between saying the pay gap should be reversed and saying pay should be equal. Anyone who believes men should be less than women is not a feminist.
