jake was getting married. he was ready to start a family and all. or at least that was what he said. yet, whenever he said things like this he could only think about how he once said he felt a different kind of love once. the warm kind, the butterflies in your stomach kind. the kind that didn’t take YEARS of toxicity to build. one where he didn’t have a fear in the back of his mind that he would wake up one morning and wish she was the one who got away. if getting married was the plan, jake needed to clear his head. the male messed with his wedding band as he waited outside of the restaurant. he didn’t care who she was with, he just needed to see her. it didn’t take long until he saw the tiny figure walk right past him. seeing her again almost had him stuck in one place. “ gianna ! ” he called out, walking a bit faster to catch up to her.
