Sorry for the terrifying alien abduction little tinys, but it's irrigation day and I am Not crawling around in the bougainvillea thorns again to make sure you have a dry place to be
#these are baby quail and for size ref those circle indentations in the cardboard are from soda can rims#first person to invent a way to tell birds I'm actually just trying to help them gets a bajiggazillion pretend dollars#these guys are too little to fly and can't swim and my yard is watertight and fills with 6 inches of water every two weeks#and what little high ground they might find just makes them extra vulnerable to the larger birds attracted by the water#^ for anyone wondering why I felt the need to mess with nature even though it's better not to#they're back with their father in the bushes now#wildlife#notpumpkins#baby birds#baby quail
