22. Our muses are stargazing
The nurse unfolded the blanket that she’d been carrying in her arms, laying it out on the grass before looking at Komaeda and smiling slightly. “T-that way you d..don’t get your clothes dirty.” She told him quietly, as timid as ever even though she viewed the male as a friend.
The nurse looked up at the night sky, a small smile appearing on her face. She waited for Komaeda to lay down before she took a spot on the grass, leaving the whole blanket for him. She tucked her hands under her head, staring up into the heavens, appearing less nervous.
"Y-you want to know s..something great about the stars, Komaeda-san?" She asked, her voice barely above a whisper. She turned her head slightly towards him, her gaze never leaving the midnight sky.
"They’re…they’re constant. Unlike people. They don’t…they don’t leave you…"
