SO WAKANA?? never talked to Elijah at ALL. And she was probably a bit rude to him predespair because??? English native... ehnnn... I want to speak Japanese....

But she had him on that list for a reason. And I think... that Wakana saw his poetry. She heard him perform, read some of what he wrote.

And you know what? Despite her being a big loser who was always talking down about the West, his words caught her in a way she didn't expect. She read his vlog, listened to his words, and saw a beauty in a language she'd never expected to find.

So in the end, she admired him, and she truly did think of him... as the type of person that the world NEEDED. Not that she ever said anything to him about it lol

Elijah Devereux is respected by Takumi, both because he helped Takumi find solace in being dead, but Eli had also helped so many other people, had someone who obviously loved him, had so many friends…

Maybe Takumi was a bit jealous.

But all of this only happened after he found the boy in a pool of blood with Ume crying over him, so…

Way to be a decent saviour, Takumi, even though he didn’t need it cause of the rules of deadland

They… never really talked after that? But Takumi did manage to get into Tartarus right after him and Ume (and then felt like a… twentieth wheel whoops)

So yeah, Takumi’s feelings on Eli kind of toe the line between respect and jealousy because Takumi is a shitter

Lee is one of those people who actually knew Elijah before the game started, but not in the way Imogen did; she was actually a follower of his vlog! So there’s that yo~

She was really thankful of Elijah getting everyone to calm down so she can say her piece once she was pinned down as the murderer in Chapter 1, and… yeah.

That is, until deadblog.

Oh boy, that one was just…. ah…. Um…

Okay, so Lee didn’t feel any regret for calling Elijah a hypocrite for his actions, but she had that bit her back when Alphonse came to Elijah’s rescue, to which she broke down because Al was right in so many things, and comparing herself to their talents, what right did she have to say about hypocrisy?

And then they met again when doing the third trial, when Lee had no partner, and Eli and Ume were gonna do it. Ume had to be their mediator, and then Lee basically points out that they have no right to say they know how she feels about being a murderer, and then ends up revealing also that she has a sucky memory.

AND THEN THAT HAPPENED (but before that she was thankful Eli allowing her to copy down the notes about the plants)

And then uh… The second mm trial, with Yuu screaming at Elijah, to which Lee screamed in Eli’s defense??? Which was kinda weird??? But ah well. Also she made a sketch of him so there’s that.
