So, few days ago i went to my friend’s and her design class’ exhibition. It was nice, to see young people with crazy idea, and also able to make it real thing! 

But my friend’s theme was so her, i mean she took selflessness as her theme, unapologetic self, why should i sorry for being me kinda thing you know, while i still trying to figuring out myself. 

It just stroke me right in the feeling, since lets admit it, i will never in the position where i stop figuring out my self, i cant really see it coming, even after this 20 years of looking.

So, also in that exhibit i went straight to my youtube playlist last January, when im in the hardship of moving to another country and all of the struggles, i listened to this song, like idk hundred times.  and here it is, my last January 2016, theme song (or one of it!)

Book #1 of 2017: Deception Point By Dan Brown

Its two days late to post this because this was my January book, managed to read couple hudreds of pages in the middle of finishing my thesis, well, so i will tell you whats this post gon be about: this is not a review, not like the normal one, with the plus minus points and shit, nor some kind of summary post, okay? 

It will be under #mereading part, and it will be more about my take on what i read, the moment, the message, the feeling, the logic i got from what i read. so its personal, me, my opinion, and remember: everyone could get different view, it is normal! different is the beautiful thing we’ve all shared! tell me your view! leave a comment of message me or what ever.

Alright, sorry for the long ass intro, its the first post on #mereading, so yeah, just giving yall a lil bit of heads up! but now, here we go! 

I took this book back from the shelf right after new year’s eve, prior to the winning of Donald Trump in the 2016 election, oh god what a terrible time to live in. I got this book few years ago, and bring it over to my place from home because i think somehow i can take something from this book for my school paper.

I grabbed this book (not by the p-word) because this books always gave me chills on how cruel the politics could be, specifically in the U.S. since the book got set in the U.S governmental body. well, all of Dan Brown’s books gave me chills but you know this is just right at the moment! 

Talking about DB’s books, several days ago, me and my friends talking about how this actually just all about conspiracy theory but BUT BUT with an exact example than could still attract me and my friends to read it all till the end.

This particular book Deception Point gave me a picture of politics, business, and science from many perspectives, and honestly, i just cant take a stance just yet! i mean i could be agree with Pickering who would do anything, literally, for saving an institution as big as NASA, or i could agree with the evil senator but only small part of his way of thinking, or i could be in the president team, you know. i just, i guess, i just dont want to think too deep in what position i wanna be. 

The President character in the book reminds me of the Presidential candidate from House of Cards season 3, Heather Dunbar. Dunbar and him gave me the vibe of good politicians that we barely could find nowadays, so dreamy like character. 

In this very moment, when America kind of crumbling, divided, the inauguration went nuts, the administration started to fired some shit, and all. this book just feels right to read.

Its kinda late, im sorry the first post not that great, and i do recognized that as im very sleepy atm. i will write more, and hopefully my writing will be more open and of course better gradually.
