According to a LeisureWheels internet article published in Sept 2017, although there are plenty of photos online of recreated replicas of the 1960’s Shelby G.T. 350 used in the 1999 movie “The Thomas Crown Affair”, there are no images online of the actual car from the movie (other than screenshots from the movie). The actual car used in the movie was a 1967 Ford Mustang convertible made to look like a Shelby G.T. 350, and sporting off-road bits such as chunky off-road tires, a roll bar with spotlights, flared wheel arches, and a spare wheel on the boot. No photos online...... until now, though(!), because it was parked in my driveway the other day. Yes, it runs. No, I don’t own it, yes, it’s for sale though not by me, and the rest is a longer story.
