yeah I know :( like, a circle made up of a lot of rings (like a bullseye) on the back of the gecko. the center is the brightest, bc that's what happens with sunrises. each ring around the center is successively darker.

Oh yeah, I was wondering where the center would be. Something like that would requiring working that into the pattern. Trial and error.

idk if you can do this with yarn but you could do a circular color stripe? bc sunsets & sunrises are semicircular, so the brightest color would be on one point of the gecko and the next-brightest stripe would circle that center, then the next-brightest around that smaller circle, etc

I’m having a hard time imagining the visual on a gecko.

The US is the third-most populous country in the world and our dual-federalist system restricts the areas that the federal government can legislate. I agree with you that there needs to be owner training, but enforcement of a lot of the measures you listed would be impossible because of the logistics, scope and cultural opposition.

It’s worth trying, doing nothing is getting people killed. We can always polish and adjust the ideas.
