I have to TEACH about late antiquity and the transition from roman art to early christian art and in this very moment I want to go back in time, to my first year of college, and sucker punch my prof who taught me NOTHING and I have to make a huge effort in recalling the shit I read in books while following high school art history manuals to see if something pops up
#goddamn all I remember was basilicas#constantine's statue#the goddamn cross of st Helen#that one church she's buried in that set the crucifiz-slash-circular plan for churches#jonah and the fucking fish#bacchus having a blast in heaven#and christian churchs in the basement of roman villas#NOTTHING ELSE
