If y’all are able to donate to my gofundme that would be incredible, we have officially lost our place. We were able to get a hotel for Friday and Saturday thanks to a wonderful friend who got us an employee rate for two nights. Thank goodness the air quality has improved. We have a friend who is letting us crash on their couch when they can, but it’s a non-permanent and a “sometimes” solution. We currently have $213 left of our GoFundMe budget, after paying for the hotel and a few necessities like garbage bags, paper plates, the occasional food, but we’ve mostly been spending our own money on food. From this point forward we aren’t touching our GoFundMe budget. Between what we are putting into savings and what we have from GoFundMe, we have been able to save $500 this month. That is... kinda scary. We have so many places with leases that start in August lined up, and $500 is not enough to pay for first months rent/security deposit anywhere.
I’m just trying to meet this goal by August so I can go to a landlord with the bare minimum, y’all. Anything helps <3 Please share!
