My own country isn't in the main tournament this year which is 0% surprising to me because it never does well and in fact it's become a running joke amongst me and my irl friends who know about this tournament that "lol the hosts own home country never makes it past one round of competition maybe two if we're lucky" and honestly I'm think it's pretty funny too because I flip flop on whether I vote for or against them in a given iteration of the tournament.

as tournament host I have a strict self imposition against sharing how I vote in ongoing matches but if anybody would like to know how I voted in completed matches this post is the place to ask
