The words take Allisonby surprise, and for a moment she can’t help but just stare at the taller teen.Scott was attractive enough, but Isaac..there was something more mature, morealluring.

The Alpha seemed tohold his boyish charm, whereas Isaac had moved onto manhood. There was cute,and then there was hot.

“All I’m takinginto account is that you think Scott’s hot,” the hunter drawled teasingly,using that as a deploy to avert the conversation topic.

Clearly, it had beenthe wrong time. It was meant as a quick, brief peck that wouldn’t likely bereturned, but as soon as she was floating beside him and leaning up to brushher lips against his, the girl was abruptly pulling back with a hand shootingup to her mouth. 

Allison forced alaugh, something nervous like, but within seconds it became more genuine, andthen she was cracking up. “Sorry, sorry, I-” literally shocked by akiss? Really?

Completely ignoringthe fact that she just tried to kiss him.

That wasn’t supposed to hurt as much as it did. In fact, hurt may have been too strong of a word, but it definitely stung. Jackson wasn’t looking for forgiveness but he wouldn’t deny that having it would ease something within him.

“Isaac,” he breathed out, not wanting this tension and anger to be so built up anymore. He needed to get it out; they both did. Which was why he’d come up with a ‘solution’ on the spot, one he was sure the taller teen would enjoy.

“Hit me. Go on, swing away. Give it your best. Get all that anger out.”
