29/11/16: Trying to get back into the studying groove so revised a bit on the certainty and completeness of contracts. Came across this latin phrase used in one of the judgments Sudbrook Trading Estate Ltd v Eggleton:
Certum est quad cerum reddi potest.
Which roughly translates to: If something is capable of being made certain, it should be treated as certain.
Who knew contract law could be so inspirational.
