Propeller sat next to the moped he had ‘commandeered’ along one of the offset streets quite a ways away to better examine it in utter fascination. Prior to his meddling he had removed his jacket and gloves, draping them neatly over the handlebars of the moped to keep them from getting dirty and subsequently had the sleeves of his undershirt rolled up as high as they could go revealing the sky blue skin of his arms. He’d worked with engines before, but nothing quite this small and self sufficient. If nothing could be learned from this then at least he could see about obtaining some spare parts he could possibly use for his helmet later on. A few of it’s parts had been removed and placed to the side as he fiddled with what he could given he had no real tools at his disposal at the moment.
The sounds of someone approaching from down the street took Propeller’s attention off his dismantling to push himself off the ground to assess whether or not he’d need to bolt. The answer became muddled when he noticed a somewhat vaguely familiar face of a man he briefly shared drinks with when he was bored and in the mood to gossip. Maybe he didn’t remember him... Well what better time to play dumb then any? Propeller pulled the handkerchief he tucked into the strap of his chest harness to wipe off any grease from his hands as he smiled at the man behind his helm.
“Ah! Bonsoir! By chance, you wouldn’t happen to have any tools on hand, yes?”
