It’s Brian Dietzen’s 44th birthday!

Inuyasha and Kagome 7 years apart redraw!~

So facebook told me this morning that I posted this 7 years ago... First off, damn that went fast. Here in Japan, it’s already the 15th, but it was still the 14th in America when I drew the second one. Does that count? XD

I thought it would be funny to redraw my first Inukag fanart. So, here is this SUPERRR quick sketch to celebrate it! I was 11 years old when I drew the first drawing, and 19 years old with the second one.

Although my art is FAR from perfect or even close to where I am near 70% content, I will say I am very glad with how far I’ve come. I’m also very grateful that my childhood hobby has improved so much in the last 7 years.

At 5-6 years old, I only dreamed of living in Japan and someday becoming an anime director. I made it very clear to everyone I knew. Even today, my goals and dreams have never changed. Now, here I am, 14+ years later, living in Tokyo. At this point of my life, this ‘little’ dream doesn’t seem too far away. :) It’s funny how my childhood dream job may become reality someday in my future.

But, who knows. Overall, I won’t stop trying until I get there, no matter how hard or long it takes me.
