We’re counting this as week two.
Anyways, welcome back to my somewhat-weekly update! Let’s get right into it by introducing... Misvai! Misvai is a human ranger who travels with another character of the Valiantgarde, who first encounters the other three in Ravara’s hometown of Wildefort. She acts as a voice of reason and sanity for the rest of the Valiantgarde, but Osaze more specifically. She’s very short-spoken and hides any knowledge about herself and Osaze from the rest of the group. The others aren’t sure what skeletons they may have in their closets, but Misvai seems determined to leave it in the past. She is extremely proficient with a longbow.
The sun had slowly been coming up as they crowded together, a few yards away from the pile of boulders at the back of the clearing. Now a few rays fell on the entrance. Ravara stared at them absently for a moment, thousand-yard stare firmly in place as she came down off her adrenaline high, only to frown as the sun was blotted out by something.
When she looked up at the sky, she was momentarily struck dumb. Her jaw worked, but no sounds came out. Terror swamped her mind so thoroughly all she could do was stare.
“Ravara?” Lyon asked, frowning, but Ravara couldn’t look away. She turned, and froze in place as well, only moving to whisper, “Goddess of Light, save us all.”
The others looked up, right as the dragon landed on the pile of boulders.
Thank you for reading, and I’ll see you all next week!
