and oh it's so cold outside
so cold you can smell it - even taste it - the air herself must be freezing to death
and it's so dark and foggy and cold
it's the kind of cold that settles down into your clothes and even after you finally reached your home and closed the door behind you, you can still feel it on your skin and in your jacket and your jeans for a quite long while
and while you stand there at your window, freezing behind closed doors, starring into the foggy, dark cold outside, you realise it's beginning:
the time when nature goes to sleep
