Instead of going back to sleep, I surprised myself by walking to Jackson Beach in time to greet the dawn and gather all the calm into myself that I could.

🌅 Dawn in November, A Quiet Moment by the Sea
In the early dawn of November, the world is still wrapped in deep darkness. Heavy gray clouds hang above the sky, and the sea’s surface is veiled with stormy shadows, adding a quiet tension to the scene.
Yet, just before the sun rises, a soft light begins to seep through—orange and deep pink blending together to paint the sky. The sea reflects this glow, its navy waves shimmering faintly with orange hues, moving gently as if taking a calm breath.
To the right, a serene stretch of sandy shore unfolds, and upon the water, a lone figure on a paddleboard becomes one with the sea. It is a moment where darkness and light, stillness and motion, meet. Like a small ritual announcing the start of the day, this scene settles the heart and awakens a quiet hope.
