With a habit of butting his nose in where it isn’t wanted, Taemin can’t help but do just that. It’s New Years Eve, the bar is almost filled to the brim with eager groups of friends, all waiting for the last countdown. But he’s waiting for another tall, handsome mojito, and spots them instead. There are no obvious signs of company, no jacket waiting on an empty seat or a second drink by their side, so... “Hey, are you alone?!” A very minimal pause, not quite enough for them to answer, “You shouldn’t be alone tonight! I mean, unless you want to be! But it’s pretty busy in here, right?! D’you want to join us?!”

Rhys was briefed on the suspect he’s about to see. Apparently, she’s quite famous in this town. He happily offered his services to the Gotham police when they asked, it is what he does after all. Harley Quinn, they said her name was, and that she, well, had a few screws loose. He understands he must be careful when it comes to overwhelming himself with her thoughts.

The police consultant enters the room, sitting down. “Hey, Harley? My name is Rhys, I’ve been sent to hang out with you.” Though, if he thinks the police are doing something shady, he’ll keep her thoughts to himself.

Leah tried to keep a straight face as she peered over the book she’d been reading. Despite it technically being winter, the weather had been warm and she found herself perched outside on a picnic table, immersed in a story.         he can’t help but narrow his eyes at her comments. ‘ this was different! ’ if he had a dime for every time he heard that from harley. it was a hard decision, letting harley back into his life, but if she had made the hard choice to leave the joker then she had to have some good left in her still! guy wanted to believe that so desperately. ❝ no. ❞ he puts his hands on the gun, hoping to get it out of her hands. ❝  if this person is as bad as you say he is, then he needs to pay the right way. let him rot in jail!  ❞

Under Tate’s watchful eye , perhaps he stood a change of surviving the night , but he hadn’t decided yet if this man was worth protecting . The other spirits weren’t as active as he was , but the few who were were incredibly angry and violent --- No one had to wrong them . They just had to be in their path . Arms crossed the boy’s chest and he leaned himself against the wall right besides the wide - open door .  “ There’s signs out there for a reason ,”  he pointed out .  “ No trespassing . This place is condemned , it seems whenever someone enters , they get hurt --- Or worse .”
