what?   whatever weiss had said to the feline had gone in one ear and out the other, heterochromatic gaze blinking once, twice. blake tried, she truly did, but the words had gotten lost in the addresses and hits and sightings that rang round and round in her head. the further blake dove into stopping her former brothers and sisters before they did something they couldn’t come back from, aligning themselves with roman ... the further everything else fell to the wayside. she couldn’t sleep, heart racing in her chest and guilt wrecked in her stomach, stabbing like a knife. she had to fix this.

          championess wraps athletic arms around weiss’s waist and lifts her into the air with a squeeze, practically smothering her in a fierce, yet affectionate, hug ( one needed by the both of them after a long absence from one another ).  “ and weiss!  how i missed you, too! ”  she exclaims, face already red and puffy from all her crying and reunions.  she’d been going one by one around to all those of her classmates that she hadn’t seen in far too long, finally making it to weiss, and such a monumental event almost mends her heart.  

         the redhead puts the once - heiress down onto the ground after the strong embrace that’s left her completely breathless, and the warrior can feel her once - shattered heart thumping in her throat.  she sniffles and pats at the stinging tears framing her slightly swollen eyelids with gloved hands before laughing pitifully, sing - song musicality to her chuckle present as ever despite them though.  as the duo stands at the front entrance of the cotta - arc household, pyrrha smiles at her friend with an enthusiasm she hasn’t felt in a long, long time.  “ i’m so glad to see you again. ”  rich vocals tremble, perhaps due to both the crying and the snow that fell onto her skin.  “ it’s been so lonely without you all. ”

30. Who was your muse’s first kiss? 🙊

Ruby’s first kiss was with a boy in her class at Signal. She was at another friend’s party and Orin was there. And everyone got this funny idea to play spin the bottle. She spun and it landed on him so they had to kiss. And it was honestly that moment that she realized that maybe she didn’t like boys. Ruby thought about it for a while and she came out to Yang as a lesbian a few months later. She said it was technically her first kiss but she really doesn’t count it that.

The kiss she counts as her first kiss is the one she had with Weiss during the Fall of Beacon. In a burst of courage, Ruby decided to display her feelings for Weiss in a kiss before heading to the top of Beacon Tower. She expected to see Weiss after but then everything happened. Their next kiss wasn’t until after the Battle of Haven, when Weiss confronted her and they properly confessed their feelings.

          “ well hi there, gorgeous. ”  they grin a smile that reaches all the way to their eyes. yang adjusts their lap so that weiss can sit more comfortably between their legs.  “ long day? ”  they reach forward and tenderly push a loose lock of platinum blonde hair behind the ice - monarch’s ear, then tilt their head to plant a gentle kiss on her cheek.  “ are you about ready to go to schnee-p for the night? ”

Ruby sat on the floor of their apartment in Vale as the door unlocked. Shifting her gaze upward to see her partner walk through the door, a smile couldn’t help but shine through. 

“Welcome home, Weiss. I have a surprise for you.”

And on the floor in front of the huntress was a puppy. Specifically a husky puppy with white and red fur, and two separate colored eyes. She wore a massive light blue bow with what appeared to be a jewel sealing it just under her chin. They were tiny, but looked to Weiss and barked before making their way over rather clumsily. They tripped over their own feet, somersaulting and ending in a sit right before the lioness.
