Where did you get the inspiration for your piece?
I was struggling with my first concept which was to do a fire fairy but it wasn't working. Then a fellow artist suggested using other themes like lava then it clicked!
What was your favorite part of the illustration process? What was your least favorite?
I loved working with a limited color palette, and painting is my favorite part!
Any other cool details about your piece you'd like to share?
I tried to incorporate Hawaiian traditional fashion into my fairy.
