On Monday August 13, 2018 during DAKKADA AKWA IBOM, the most interesting radio program on COMFORT 95.1FM which had Chief Sunny Udom as guest, the seasoned politician beckoned on Akwa Ibom state house of Assembly headed by the speaker Barr. Onofiok Luke to rename Akwa Ibom state international Airport to Obong Victor Attah International Airport. He also said that the time has come for the Father of modern Akwa Ibom to be formally celebrated as the political leader of the state. In his words, "even Senator Akpabio was a creation of Obong Attah who will be 80 this November." It's good we've seen the need to clamour for the renaming of the Airport, but before you take the glory, give kudos to Chief Sunny Udom the progenitor.
