Derpt the Houndour leads the way into the forest, stalking into the trees in order to find his prey. Nox follows behind, staying quiet and alert.

Eventually, the two hear rustling in the undergrowth. In the distance, they can see the vauge shapes of a few pokemon...

They seem to be patrolling the area together. Their features are unnaturally pale, and baleful purple light pours form their eyes as their gaze sweeps like spotlights over the wooded terrain. They seem to be getting closer.

Nox composes herself and files the sudden surging questions in the back of her mind as work on later. She came here to help and she couldn't do that if she was panicking

She takes a good look at her surroundings trying to get a sense for which way the camp was set up for a briefing while also getting used to her new form's movements.

Camp, as it is, is a bit sparse. There's only a single small building erected nearby, which contains the map Dedenne and Raichu have made from the intelligence they've gathered. Dedenne is probably in there, too. Derpt the houndour ( @ask-the-derpy-houndor ) is also nearby, fiddling with some native timber and starting the foundation on a second structure. Raichu, for his part, is staring at Nox with a fair amount of concern.

“ @ask-the-derpy-houndor goes to the forest with the intent of defeating every enemy in it”

Derpt gets a glint in his eye; the spark of ambition. He treads towards the pale woods with a determined strut. On the way, he catches the eye of @nox-lunarwing, who is helping to gather building materials at the forest's edge.

What could he be thinking of doing? Should she ask, or just leave it alone?

Nox comes through the portal after some time setting up a connection and as she walks through she doesn't realize that upon entering this new world she has become a Dragapult.

"That took longer than expected, though considering your world falls outside of Grim's domain and is overseen by a whole different deity I can't say I'm surprised. Anyways My name is Nox Lunarwing and I will be glad to help in any way I can!"

"Oh! Excuse me... you scared me a bit. well we could certainly use the help! I think we'll need a basic building up soon with all the pokemon we've been getting... would you mind helping Derpt ( @ask-the-derpy-houndor ) get some materials together?"

(Both of you should be thinking on what exactly you all want to build for the base camp! It could be anything from a storage area to a meeting hall to a kitchen or a place to sleep! In the meantime, Maybe Nox should come to grips with her new form...)
