As someone that went to Catholic school for 12 years and is an agnostic through and through, I can say that anyone that says that gay marriage is wrong because it says so in the bible is full of shit. That comes from the book of Leviticus, which also says that women who are on their period are not allowed to stay in the same ROOM as their husbands because they are dirty at that time. Christians like to pick and choose what they want to follow. Tell your classmate that it's all or nothing.

Thank you so much and I’ll definitely have to do that <33 I agree that you can’t pick and chose about which parts of the Bible you follow, and even though I like to think of myself as being pretty open minded for some reason the only thing I’m really cynical about is belief. For some reason I find it hard to honestly believe in anything and I don’t really know why. On the other hand who knows? I’m not discrediting anyone either. But if God is in fact real and the Bible is true there are so many ways to look at it that the fact that people believe that their interpretation is the only ‘right’ one and that everyone else is wrong and is damned seems very close minded

One thing I want to share with everyone freaking out about the tickets being so expensive: I worked with a music venue for a couple years in the past and, when booking bands, they had NO say in how much things would cost. It all came down to security and what costs the venue had to cover. This is the same thing. The VIP tickets are expensive because that's extra time in the venue and extra security needed. D&P are giving people a chance to meet them, not trying to suck money from them.
