Nox's poems #?
there is no disease or cruelty as that of the loss of mind
Where the sharpness dulls unevenly and the conciousness fades deeply to the inner being and where your own head becomes your own prison farther so than fear or sadness far harsher than anger or...
or...
where identity ebs and the presence wanes
where there is no likeness in your ausence there is no quiet in the inexistence and the ripples of your being muffle deep into the ruthless forgiveness of a memory lost to forgetfullness
There is no cruelty so great as the loss of mind
Where your eyes dull from their fire flickering like candles deep in nature's ire when your soul and voice grow mute and your ears deaf
oh how the certainty bides farewell in that lost gaze that once held gentle care where aimless grief veils the love that left and searching eyes grasp at the one that once was
there is no grief, no cruelty or disease as the loss of mind
where the person drowns far too long before the body breaths its last.
