closed with @anomaly-burnt Cadence hadn’t been in this world long enough to know the ins and outs of it, but she had been here long enough to know she at least had a chance here since she was sent through the void and... probably died where she was before. She still missed her family terribly, but the ache got less and less over time, and she found company in the local Elsens. For one, the local annoyance Brave was great in finding collectibles and things that she recognized from her own world. “Hey what’s this again?” The burnt, sitting on a wall in Zone 2, dropped his arm to reveal a charm with a silver shield design on it. Cadence looked up from her notebook to take one look at it, before speaking up. “A protection charm. It increases your defense,” She’d reached up to grab it, but Brave already pulled it out of her reach, decidedly keeping it until Cadence could give him an item offer he couldn’t back down from. Cadence rolled her eyes, her attention moving from the burnt to something down the alleyway. “I don’t see why you think these protect you. Cadence,” Brave looked over, seeing she disappeared from his sight, “Cadence? ... Merde, you gotta put a leash on her sometimes...” Cadence, adventurous and curious as usual, stepped over to the alleyway before it opened up to a white, sparse, nothing. Her boots stopped at the edge of the color, bafflement and nervousness carrying her along.
