Last year I stepped on stage to prove to myself that after three kids and running a business while pursuing my PhD, I could look just as good if not better than other women in magazines and in tv. I accomplished that. This year I wanted to look better than I did last year. 💯 With injuries plaguing me and working longer than ever before (the kids didn’t disappear either), I took my training to the FIT Lab and with the guidance of my coach and personal chiro, Jim Goetz went to the research journals and coached me what would be considered outside the gym box. It worked better than ever expected. 💯 I will admit there were times especially towards the end that I lost my passion to compete and wanted to stop. I did not. It was due to the plethora of supporters and outpouring of DM’s, emails, patients and fellow Team Functionised members that kept me going. I wasn’t going to let anyone down. 💯 From the bottom of my heart I thank you. If it weren’t for you I don’t know if I could have finished. You were more support than you could imagine and inspired me to keep pushing forward. 💯 I know my weaknesses and have already begun to work on them. I was going to just take up golf but some at FIT today made some comments that got me thinking to really make an impact.
