But the truth is that there's bro science and real science. 20% of the time cheating is without a doubt going to ensure an individual diet as opposed to living a lifestyle of happiness. Personal trainers and many certified nutritionists take their best guess and count calories and macros and allow "cheat days". But that is not a science. Often times one can get away with nutrition mistakes due to off label banned "supplements". However, it's not a lifestyle. An example of "Clean Eating" (I put quotes as this is scientifically proven to be a false term) may be organic broccoli, organic high grade extra virgin olive oil and free range chicken. However, if one's body has a response by creating white blood cells and inflammation to the consumption of these three items; no longer is someone eating super foods but eating poison. If you're not testing you're guessing and always test for success. Lab testing will show you what foods cause inflammation that lead to chronic disease. It will show you what foods cause your body to be in a state of inflammation that cause you not to absorb vital nutrients. By understanding what foods are not poison to your body, you can learn and have a true lifestyle where you no longer need to count calories and macros but live a life of enjoyment and fulfillment. 2000 k/cal per day- If 400 of those calories are from sugar and alcohol, I promise you will not only be stagnant in your weight loss but you will gain weight, fat, and find yourself in a diseased state.
