i really need to update my about me page (and most of my pages tbh) because it looks so dumb omg effort but I did add wincestiel to my ships list so there's that

also all this sex and porn talk has really made my day and helped me forget about being sick for a while so yay so bless emily and you all

My grandma just showed me part of a documentary type thing on the USS Reagan and while I don't miss the Navy as a whole really, I do miss the flight deck a lot. I loved working on F-18s. The flight deck during flight schedule was never truly dull, there was always something going on and even if it was tiring carrying around about 80lbs of chains on your shoulders for 30 minutes or so at a time, there was a certain satisfaction when your jet finally was launched off the catapult and took flight into the sky knowing you that you helped make that possible. And when I was in my shop, as an AD, it was the same feeling when I helped fix a part or replace an engine and knowing that soon, most likely the next day, that jet would be back up on the flight deck and being prepped for launch. 

There was really no point to this post other than to say, I miss the excitement of the flight deck. It's really something amazing to experience.

on a completely unrelated note: I just got the new tumblr update and I hate it kskdjhfskhj but also xkit is amazing and I just want to give this person who made the extension lots of cuddles and snacks and hot chocolate because its amazingly wonderful

But Russ tweeted about Profound Radio, on his own...I don't even know what to do with that. Wow! What a sweetheart. I just. He's actually such a good person.

Hope I'm able to work with him and the crew one day.
