wait so what's happening with the Austrian Elections?
Basically, the conservative party ÖVP (which is lead by Sebastian Kurz, the guy who became Europe’s youngest foreign minister at age 27) is winning, the 2nd place is currently held by the ultra-right party FPÖ, and the Greens are losing their seat in parliament altogether by the looks of it (which is super ironic bc our current head of state comes from that party). The only good thing in this election is that Peter Pilz, who used to be a member of the Greens but then decided to campaign independently, actually has managed to get enough votes to get into parliament.
So yeah, fun times.
