“Every team wants to develop and deploy independently from other teams, even when working on the same application. The microfrontend architecture is a way to do it, but it comes with its own challenges. How do you coordinate your work? How do you do cross-app refactorings? How do you manage versions? Companies like Google, Facebook, and Microsoft have figured it out: you use a monorepo.
In this talk, Victor Savkin will show how to use Nx–extensible tools for monorepos–to set up a dev environment, where multiple teams can build a portal application out of microfrontends, without having any problems with refactorings or versioning.
Victor Savkin is co-founder of Nrwl. Prior to founding Nrwl in 2016 with Jeff Cross, Victor Savkin was on the Angular Core Team at Google where he worked on many core parts of the frameworks, such as dependency injection, change detection, router, and forms”
