30 Day Forensics Challenge: Day 8

Write about your coach Oh my gosh! My coaches Randal and Lenita are simply amazing and I wouldn't be where I am without them. Lenita and I are so jokingly mean to each other and they are both so hilarious an I'm glad I have them... Well at least Lenita because Randal is moving so we don't have a head coach yet but hopefully that'll change before the season starts

30 Day Forensics Challenge: Day 7

Have you ever dated someone who was in forensics, what was it like? Well both of my two girlfriends did do speech. My first girlfriend Rachel and I met in our freshman year of speech then we started dating the beginning of our sophomore year. My second girlfriend Ashley was on my own speech team and we met my sophomore year and we started dating at the beginning of my junior year. They were both pretty good relationships Rachel didn't do speech the following year but I did see her at state drama and the plays she was in because she doesn't live too far away and for the first couple weeks after we broke up we were kind of bitter towards each other but now we're friends and the same with Ashley except it was more awkward because we were on the same team but once we got over the first couple awkward practices we became friends again and now we are back to where we were before we started dating so it's all good.

30 Day Forensics Challenge: Day 6

Write about your best forensics friends

Well my absolute best friend is Isaiah from a town not too far from where I live. I met him just this past season and without him I would still be some scared little closeted gay boy. I first talked to him at a tournament where he had the authors name wrong in his poetry and from there it was a blooming friendship. At state we talked about all the things I had never talked about, like my sexuality, my body image issues and he just made me so comfortable. The next day I walked into my parents room an told them I was bi. Without him I would never be where I am now and I’m so so grateful for him :)

Next is Lindsey who is hilarious and up until this year I thought she actually hated me. We always had drama and poetry rounds together and she was amazing in both and I loved her pieces so much!

Finally we have Tori and Jared who are a couple and they are so awesome and hilarious I had drama with both of them and then Tori in poetry too. They are ao genuinely kind and funny and I absolutely love them!

Describe your team As much fun and hilarious as they are, they can be lazy and disrespectful towards each other but I hope that changes this up coming year. I want my senior year to go without a hitch. I do really love them and the bus rides are always so much fun because we all sing at the back of the bus together and it's just a hot mess but I wouldn't trade it for anything else

30 Day Forensics Challenge: Day 3

Most embarrassing tournament moment? Well, when I was a freshman we were going to get food after the first tournament and I was wearing suspenders instead of a belt ad I didn't even think about it but I slid them off when we drove to the restaurant and then we go to get off and I didn't think to put them back on so when I got up my suit pants fell down ... On the plus side there was another guy behind me so it wasn't too bad and I don't think he saw it either but it was so SO embarrassing!

What's your favorite tournament and why? I think my favorite tournament is the one held in my hometown called the Trapper Rendezvous where some of the team from lower Montana come down to complete with us. It's my favorite racist it offers such a challenge because this is usually the 2nd or 3rd tournament for us but for Montana it's at the end of their season so you're competing against polished pieces and I like the challenge
