Complete the Beach Life aspiration.

Start on an empty lot with 100 simoleons. Hard mode: start as a teen.

Marry the first adult sim to rate you 5 stars for a job.

Max the Fishing and Fabrication skills.

Your only friend is your spouse.

Nox Moreno has recently been kicked out of their parents' basement for being a good-for-nothin' freeloader. Pfft, as if they care. They've secretly been saving up for a one-way ticket to Sulani ever since their 16th birthday anyway. While Nox may have managed to make it to their dream destination, they have precious little else. They've taken up residence on the uninhabited island of Mua Pel'am just outside an old, abandoned shipwreck. Let's hope the locals are nice enough to spare Nox some kindness (and cash... they could really do with some camping gear).

Now that Nox has completed all of their generation's goals, they love to spend their down time taking up new outdoor hobbies.

Horseshoes seem to be their current favorite.

They grow up so fast! Safira is already aging up into a child.

This generation started off really difficult but ended quickly once we had a routine set in place for Nox to complete their skills. Since their house was an off-the-grid lot there were some additional obstacles as well (not as many food items to cook, no electricity for fabrication machine thing, consistently dark screenshots lol). If I can recommend one thing for this generation, it's the poke bowl recipe! It grants your sim a focused moodlet and helped so much in completing the fabrication skill using just the candle-making station. All you need to make it is fresh fish which you'll have in abundance because of the fishing skill goal.

In the beginning I really loved Nox as I don't often play with "bad" sims but near the end I resented them for neglecting their adorable children. Thankfully there weren't too many goals to achieve so I was able to finish this generation off pretty quickly. The hardest part was easily the kava party as there were a lot of glitches (party goals not getting checked off even when I completed them) and routing issues (sims not properly gathering for a toast and then resetting). Otherwise the Beach Life aspiration is almost too easy.

All in all, I think Onyx Gen is fun for gameplay and a great start to a legacy challenge! I'm really looking forward to continuing the Pelam Family Legacy with Safira and can't wait to share that with you as well! Thank you for the support and love on this challenge!
