What do their friends/family think of their relationship?They’re very supportive-- Amethyst moreso for Pearl and Garnet for Greg, Steven overall, but everyone’s just really happy for them. 

How do their personalities/skills complement or contrast with each other?Greg is really energetic and high-key, while Pearl is a little more understated. 

What is their favorite aspect of each other?Pearl genuinely likes Greg’s music, and his passion for it and the people and things about which he cares the most. 

Do either of them have pet peeves about each other?Sometimes, Greg feels like Pearl’s lack of finesse about human culture is the result of deliberate ignorance. Pearl could say the same for Greg and Gem culture, considering that he’s been friends with all of them for going on 30 years. 

How would each reconcile with each other after a fight?Greg approaches first (Pearl is a stubborn, prideful Gem), and then they disappear for a while. No one knows where they go but it’s resolved by the time they get back. And the answer is they go to the boardwalk, Greg will sometimes pick up something to eat and they sit on the end of the pier and work it through. 

What would be their ideal vacation getaway together?Greg has a list. Pearl is game for whatever-- which is surprisingly spontaneous for her. 

Think of a new way (AU, different situation, etc.) they could have met for the first time.Pearl was the only one who showed up to Greg’s show in Beach City. Imagine the possibilities.

How differently do they think of each other now compared to when they first met?At first Lapis was a little wary of him, but she ended up warming up to him significantly. 

What do their friends/family think of their relationship?Dipper’s family likes her pretty well, Mabel especially. (Stan and Ford both have weird soft spots for her.) Lapis really isn’t in contact with Steven or the CGs anymore, so jury’s out there. 

How do their personalities/skills complement or contrast with each other?Lapis keeps Dipper grounded when he’s going off on bunny tails. 

What is their favorite aspect of each other?Lapis will listen to Dipper’s theories and ideas and help him work through them when he hits a roadblock. Lapis likes to steal his clothes. 

Do either of them have pet peeves about each other?Sometimes Dipper feels like Lapis isn’t taking him or his studies seriously. When he calls her out on it, she gets pretty defensive. 

How would each reconcile with each other after a fight?Dipper tends to approach her first. Sometimes she slams the door in his face, which is his cue to back off and try again in a few days.

What would be their ideal vacation getaway together?Florida. Lapis saw it on a map and was like, “We’re going.”

How differently do they think of each other now compared to when they first met?It really hasn’t changed? They bicker a lot but in the end, they do love each other. 

What do their friends/family think of their relationship?Barb likes him, if the way she punches his arm really hard every time he comes over is any clue. Steven was torn between “told ya so” and “/incoherent squeals of shipping delight” when he found out. 

How do their personalities/skills complement or contrast with each other?On the surface it seems like they don’t? But they have the right mix of personality that plays off each other really well. 

What is their favorite aspect of each other?Sadie really likes seeing the walls come down form around Lars’ personality. Lars likes listening to her sing in the back room (which he totally doesn’t btw). 

Do either of them have pet peeves about each other?Getting Lars’ walls to come down at all is a pain in the ass. Sadie, for her part, sometimes prefers to be left alone-- nothing anyone did wrong, she just wants to be left be. Lars hasn’t completely mastered the “nothing’s wrong” part of that yet and tends to push a little too much sometimes. 

How would each reconcile with each other after a fight?Usually Sadie approaches first, but Lars has been improving. 

What would be their ideal vacation getaway together?Not too far. Hell, even to Ocean Town would be nice for a weekend.

How differently do they think of each other now compared to when they first met?Their relationship was probably the best Archie had at the start. It’s improved from there.

What do their friends/family think of their relationship?Jay’s parents like him well enough (although they don’t understand why he dyes his hair so much). Archie doesn’t have a relationship with his father, which he insists is a good thing here. Everyone else is very supportive (albeit surprised at first bc no one was expecting it?). 

How do their personalities/skills complement or contrast with each other?Jay is much more eager than Archie, who’s (for the most part) a little slower to act. Think of them as low-key versions of Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr, respectively. 

What is their favorite aspect of each other?Really, the fact that they can geek out over their respective ancestries and overall mythology together. They’re both hardcore nerds. 

Do either of them have pet peeves about each other?Jay will scold Archie for being so negative-- which Archie throws right back at him because Jay can being really negative when he’s in a funk. 

How would each reconcile with each other after a fight?Archie is grudge-holding son of a bitch, and Jay really has to work at him to get him to talk about it. 

What would be their ideal vacation getaway together?Some quiet little seaside town somewhere. The irony is not lost on Archie.

How differently do they think of each other now compared to when they first met?Not that differently. They got on pretty well even pre-relationship. 

What do their friends/family think of their relationship?Jay’s parents like him well enough. Neil insists that his mother would have adored Jay. 

How do their personalities/skills complement or contrast with each other?Jay keeps Neil tethered to reality. Neil keeps Jay from stroking out before the age of 21. 

What is their favorite aspect of each other?Despite all assumptions to the contrary, Neil is a fantastic listener, which Jay really appreciates because otherwise his self-doubt would eat him alive. Neil likes how unapologetically himself Jay is. On some level he envies him for not being beholden to anything or anyone. 

Do either of them have pet peeves about each other?Jay gets frustrated with Neil’s vanity, doubly so when it interferes with their work. Neil thinks Jay works entirely too hard. 

How would each reconcile with each other after a fight?Neil pouts a lot, but he will often approach Jay first. 

What would be their ideal vacation getaway together?Neil has a million plans for places to go and things to see. Jay is like, “Is there boating? Yes? Cool.”

How differently do they think of each other now compared to when they first met?They really really really really R E A L L Y didn’t get on at all at first. Like damn. They eventually ended up getting along really well. 

What do their friends/family think of their relationship?The other Heroes’ reactions were all along the lines of “Whaaaaaaat?” because of their previous bickering, but they’re all very supportive. Theresa’s family sideeyes Archie a bit, but he’s being welcomed into the fold. Archie has zero ties with his family anymore, so that’s a nonissue for him. 

How do their personalities/skills complement or contrast with each other?She’s a natural optimist to his pessimist. That being said, they’re a terrifying duo in a fight. 

What is their favorite aspect of each other?Theresa: Archie is a realist (when he’s not being a Negative Nancy), and he has a very dry, sarcastic sense of humor that never fails to make her laugh. Archie: This is a very closely guarded secret, but he admires her very sweet, feminine nature. Girls in general mystify him, but that sweet, frilly femininity is completely alien to him and he really likes it?  

Do either of them have pet peeves about each other?Archie still kind of sideeyes her powers from time to time, and it pisses her off. On his end, sometimes she forgets that they don’t have even remotely similar backgrounds and it upsets him. Like, a lot. 

How would each reconcile with each other after a fight?They give each other the cold shoulder for a bit before someone goes to apologize. 

What would be their ideal vacation getaway together?She wants to take him to Europe for reasons he can’t quite fathom.

What is their favorite aspect of each other?Mystery is fiercely loyal. Arthur is 100% devoted and loving.

What would be their ideal vacation getaway together?Yoji proposed the idea once. Cass started weighing survivability and safety of every place YOji suggested and he just gave up, so they’re still not sure.
