As she pulled on a pair of knitted socks over her tights and slipped her boots on, Katie cursed the Trojans with every fiber of her being. Running down the stairs and pulling her older brother along with her, she ushered him into the driver's seat of their shared car with just enough time to get to school exactly on time. Matt was just as upset as she was, and the car ride to their new school was spent complaining about their equally fervent hatred for the Trojans. One prank gone wrong, and now they were forced to go to school with their biggest rivals.
After she was assigned to her new locker and her new everything, the brunette could only hope that at least some of her old friends would be in her classes, especially as she refused to make any new friends at the new school. Walking through the halls, Katie scoped out the other students and was comforted that she was still the best dressed at both schools. Still, walking into homeroom and seeing that she was the only Spartan in the room and that the only open seat was next to the Trojans' star football player, she nearly turned around and sprinted to the nurse's office to plead the flu. "You've got to be kidding me," she said under her breath as she slid into the seat beside me, looking up to the ceiling in disbelief and annoyance.
