Kindness Propagation Get Together

25th June 2016: Kindness Propagation division held its first ever get together in a chalet booked by the division head at NSRCC, Tanah Merah country club.

The initial response was lukewarm, but it did not deter the Team. We were determined to make it happen! With joyous efforts, we finally garner the support of 60 volunteers, and it was also an honour that most of our invited guests turned up to support the event!

Sincere thanks also go to 3 volunteers who brighten the place with balloon sculpting of blooming flowers, lady bird, etc. There were also balloons wrist band & head band. The volunteers had a fun time taking photos with them.

We kicked off the event with the liberation of 88 crabs and 75 birds. For some volunteers it was their first time liberating crabs, but they enjoyed learning how to manage the crabs and set them free.

Soon it was time for the final event since most volunteers had turned up by then. The vast offering started with a motivational speech by our CEO, Mr Tan. Our heartfelt gratitude to him for his reminder that every little thing we know from offerings to liberation were all taught by the Teacher. Therefore, it is of the utmost importance that we remember the kindness of the Teacher at all times, and continue to keep the profound teachings alive.

As we started to sing the insightful praise“祈请大师颂”, the powerful aspiration could be felt as we requested for our Teachers, lineage master and their teachings to continue to stay.

Finally, it was time to tuck into a sumptuous vegetarian buffet. It was indeed joyous to see the youngest, a few months old, to the most senior in the 70+ gather together for the event.

Our heartfelt gratitude to the Triple Gems and our Teachers, with their guidance and blessings the event was able to accomplish successfully. Also, thanks to all the leaders and volunteers who make it happen!

慈心日记（25.6.2016）：放生、广供、联谊记

在某年、某月的某一个星期六（就是25.6.2016嘛），炎热的下午一大群人闹哄哄地集合在国民服务度假村俱乐部（NSRCC)，有何啥事呢？原来是为了期待已久的慈心户外放生、广供及联谊。慈心关怀部主任郭垂庆体恤慈心义工们的辛劳，热心地举办这个户外活动，还特地在国民服务度假村俱乐部租了一间度假屋，以便大家有更舒适的环境办广供和联谊。

当天的气氛非常热闹，除了慈心义工、福友，还有受邀嘉宾，分别为陈东荣执行长、许丽容讲师、林猷民主任与夫人、黄庆发主任、郭志全会长与夫人及福业联网的Wee Aik Beng都出席了！
