I wrote this book because I had a Purple Cryer. Garrett would cry for 3-4 hours a night for weeks. It was driving me crazy - at first. I somehow learned to deal with it. For some parents and caregivers this may be too much to bear. Having a book like this would have helped me understand what was going on with Garrett. It wasn’t until 12 years latter that I learned about the Purple Crying Period and then it became important to me to help parents handle this period in child development and save lives.
