I live for these moments. The exploration of a new place after days of research. The mapping of the journey then getting there and walking towards it. And finally, it's there, in person, right in front of you. The place you've seen in pictures is now in your reality. You experience the temperature and the terrain of this new, but lost and forgotten world, and soak up the atmosphere and excitement of going inside, or on top of. My favourite part is crossing the threshold. It's the moment of making it, and it's as awesome and exciting as one might wonder.
