The use of amulets is a practice that also can provide much insight into religious practice, the popularity of deities, and the roles of the gods and goddesses. Some amulets represented a sign of devotion to and respect for the power of a particular god. But they could also become a means of protection such as the sacred Eye of Horus. Deities associated with the more personal aspects of the individual are often rendered in the form of an amulet to be worn or carried by the individual in life. They could be protective for both royalty and private people. The practice of using amulets and their magical properties as personal protection and adornment was used throughout Egyptian history, and we can trace back its use to the earliest periods. And they were thought to offer the wearer the protection or power of the Divinity represented. - David P. Silverman
Help with Hathor
I have recently been feeling Hathor having a presence in my life and calling me to her. Does Anyone have any advice, suggestions, etc on building a relationship with her? All help is appreciated
When one observes the representations, in the temple reliefs, of the mounds of food piled up as offerings to the gods, or when one peruses the lists and enumerations of the extremely varied foodstuffs intended for them, one tends to imagine that the gods reveled at lavish, sumptuous feasts liberally supplied with meat and drink. But this was not at all the case. The copious meals offered to the gods by men and ultimately by the priests contrasted sharply with the eating habits that prevailed in the divine world. The gods avoided excess; as a rule, for their meals were frugal.

Ma’ahes
Hi! I’m currently a devote Bast, Tefnut, and Set kind of person, but as I’ve made my mission to be well established as the feline priestess, I continue...
So I want to start next on Ma’ahes! He’s currently calling to be a tad. I want to know if anyone has any experience or tips. Please message me if you are willing! Leave a reply even. 🦁
Hail💖🌿🎶🎉
Hello! I just started following you recently & I love your content!! I have a question: What's your take on worshipping the Kemetic gods at the same time as other gods/faiths? I've been researching and getting into Filipino ancestor worship and pantheon as a way to connect to my own culture, but I've also felt a certain draw towards the Kemetic gods as well. I've heard that Kemeticism is open but a part of me still feels uncertain about worshipping from two different cultures simultaneously.
Hey!!
Welcome and thank you so much!! :D
My take is that the nTrw would be absolutely fine with it, for two bit reasons;
☀️ They are very happy sharing space with other gods, for example during the Ptolemaic Period they were worshipped along side the Greek gods. Even to the point that some Greek deities were honoured in Egyptian temples - like offerings to Aphrodite have been found at the Temple of Philae of Isis.
☀️ Ancestor veneration is a big part of Kemetic faith and practise. So your motivation is not something I can imagine the gods having a problem with :)
From the Kemetic side, so long as the nTrw are treated with honour respect, and any offering you make are ritually pure - I doubt they would have any problem at all. :D
☀️☀️☀️
I hope this was helpful! Good luck on your path, and if you have any specific questions about offering or anything like that, always feel free to drop me a message :)
