i would encourage all students to apply for CERB if you need money or will need it for the next three or four months. at the very, very least it will be an 8000 dollar interest free loan that can be gradually paid off. if you need money, apply for CERB. you will not be penalized. at most, you will simply be asked to pay it back in time. again, interest free.

The vast majority of students do not qualify for the CERB.

The vast majority of students do not have the required hours or money earned from a job to qualify.

Students are in bad financial situations too. They have rent, utilities, tuition, food costs.

I’d apply for the CERB too, because I’m living off of my student loans which are almost gone, but I don’t have the job requirements to qualify (because I’m a full time university student and couldn’t balance a job and studies at the same time).

That’s the problem.
