Anyone else surprised the Emperor didn't fuck up Nuceria for what they did to Angron? And I don't even mean in a "my sonnnn, what have you done to my beautiful boyyyy" revenge way.
I mean in the sense that he spent a ton of time, money and energy on making and then finding his limited edition crew of superhuman general-sons, only to learn you put agonizing rage-nails in one of their brains that will slowly eat his mind until he's a non-functioning rabid beast before finally dying
The Emperor does not take kindly to people obstructing his plans and that's a pretty bad offense. That's massively inconvenient. He only had 20 of these guys, he had to vaporize two of them and you fucked up a third with your weird archeotech.
Nuceria must be an insanely resource rich planet because this man has done far worse to orhers for less.
Angron on T'au AU. A lore drop. It starts with a map.
Trying to find out where Nuceria is, or was, is more difficult than a I thought. But I found this.
This is what I was thinking, Nuceria is near the Eastern Fringe. One warp storm and Angron would have landed on T'au.
So through the machinations of the dark gods, the intervention of the Eldar, or random chance, the infant Angron is found on T'au by a hunter, a tribesmen of the of the ancient fire caste.
The war hasn't started yet, the mont'au, but there are signs that divisions are forming. It is only a matter of time.
He grows to adulthood at an accelerated rate, learning the way of the hunter. He shaves his head, adopting a lock of hair as his brethren do.
Then, one night, another fire caste tribe attacks his. He leads the war party in defence for his truly formidable, but it is a distraction. Another war party attacks his village. On their return, he finds his adoptive father dead, their village ransacked. He swears vengeance.
And his vengeance is swift and merciless. The physical prowess of a primarch can not be matched. But when he stands in the wreckage of his enemies' settlement, he realises there is no honour in this. His father would have been ashamed of his actions, his mother wept at the carnage he caused. He swears that this will not happen again. His anger must be controlled, tempered like a fine blade. But that is not enough. The t'au must be one people, all the castes, united as one. Only then would this slaughter end.
So begins the great journey of unification. He travels the length and breadth of his world. He meets the tribes of the earth caste and learns of the cultivation of crops and irrigation systems to feed them. He talks to the water caste, and he learns music and tales from the great story tellers. He travels to the mountains and meets the air caste, learning how they navigate the air currents.
But it is not an easy task. There are those who will not accept his message. Fierce fire warriors, earth warlords, scheming water caste.
There are fierce battles, but the stories of his nobility and mercy for his enemies travel before him. Eventually, after many years, his message of unity is heard by all. It has a name spread far and wide by water caste envoys and air caste messengers, the tau'va, or 'the greater good'.
The meeting of the first elemental council finally unifies the t'au as one people. The great chamber in which the meeting is held is round, no one sits higher than the other, and all are equal. Great leaders of each caste meet, food is shared, ale is drunk. Oaths are sworn. He is chosen as their leader, for who else could possibly undertake such a task?
The story of how he was found, a star that fell from the sky, is well known. A title is bestowed on him, 'Aun' or the celestial.
And so begins the t'au's ascent to the stars.

Canvassed, this not canon. But Nuceria place though very creepy, but interesting.
Children survived gladiators, as breeding warriors. Which from childhood preparing for the Nails, and pain. And Gladiator-dad taking care of them . Which in each of them sees his child, and howls-growls in tears in an electric collar every time, slave holder come for them..
