Deus Ex - Francis Pritchard
Redraw I did of a drawing back in 2019-ish inspired by this drawing by @ukenceto! I couldn't decide if I wanted to have the glitch effect or not so I just did both.
The one I did in 2019 for comparison~
robocop becomes Antagonizing Robocop
sorry not sorry
(I’m actually really happy with how this turned out)
I love one (1) greasy hacker enough to draw his symbol in chalk.

I made some Jensen themed emojis a while back and tonight I decided to sit down and make a Francis themed love emoji, but I uh, got a little carried away so um. Well, here. They double as icons cuz they’re big enough.
You guys are welcome to use these however you want. Icons, emojis, page stamps, slap it on art, I don’t mind one bit. I’d appreciate if you reblogged these and didn’t repost, or reblog if you use them, and don’t claim you made ‘em, but obviously I can’t make you.
I hope you like them! (If I’m not wrong, the binary should say “LOVE” but yannow... /fingerguns)
I don’t make vectors, I just pray to the machine god I can make a straight line. Sometimes it works out. Others, not so much.
Holy fucking shit, frankbot got fucking real for a hot second. my heart?? that visual?? OW??

Cyberpunk Horror is an under-appreciated genre.
And I’m fully of the opinion that Francis’ hacker persona is the perfect spooky protagonist for it. All we need is some borderline supernatural “spoop in the machine” entity for him to go to war with, CGI effects and you have yourself a fuckin’ bomb-ass movie.
I’m especially fond of the “scrambled data over a screeching sound byte” trope, I won’t lie. Bleak images in dark rooms, entire sets cast in a single colour light, and nothing but tension at night... and everything surreally, overwhelmingly NORMAL during the day. The colours are too saturated. The sky is too blue. The people are too happy. The world is... naive to what’s watching.
A movie where reality bleeds into the digital, every waking hour haunts him with the need to find this entity and destroy it before it destroys society. The world may never discover the true nature of this entity, and it won’t know the identity of the man who saved the world from its decaying grip, but everyone will sleep easier knowing it’s gone, and that’s what matters.
Plus just imagine some Scandroid music hand-made by Klayton for a DX hacker movie, aight?
